Replacement Lower for Merc 200hp

Need a replacement Lower. Mercury 1997 200XL, 0G507548. Haven't pulled the old one yet. How do I determine the shaft length I need to order? It appears I need a 90-206?

You mention it is an xl. that is a 25", however you should double check. pull it off and measure from the mounting surface to the top of the shaft. it should be 28 inches plus or minus a bit. That will mean it is a 25" unit. if it is a 20" unit, it would measure 23 or so.
