I am returning my SE 306 lower unit. Because the motor is old, I had to buy a new drive shaft. When I installed it, I just tapped it until it clicked. Now I can't remove the drive shaft. I have tried to drive it out but it doesn't move. How do I remove the SEI drive shaft from the SEI lower unit so I can return it?

There is a tool that clamps on to the driveshaft and then pulls the shaft out. It just has to break the clip holding it. https://www.sterndrive.cc/product/om...ol_390706.html otherwise you pretty much have to disassemble the unit to remove it.
