se106 trim tab

I just finished mating the lower and upper units of the SE106 by following the provided instructions. The last instruction states "Install the front nut and the trim tab."

I suspect the instructions assume that the trim tab was to be provided by the customer, either reusing an old trim tab or purchasing a new one. I would like to purchase a new one from Sterndrive Engineering, but cannot find one that is specifically identified as being for the SE106. Which product should I order?

If you do a search on our store for 90-106-05k you will find the trim tab anode kit. You can also purchase one at your local marine shop.

Depending on the prop size and thus clearance, you will either use a standard size trim tab, a smaller "racing" trim tab, or a flat plate. Depending on water type, you will either use a zinc (salt) aluminum (salt or fresh) or magnesium (best for fresh water, but fresh water only)
